  Second visit, they diagnosed a problem which I was ok with, but they quoted $1,400 for a part that I researched that I could purchase for $700 (retail). Once I challenged them on this, they suddenly diagnosed further faults requiring an $800 part, on top of the original $1,400 part, and a heap of additional labour on top of that. I immediately stopped them, paid them for work so far, took the car elsewhere, they confirmed the first part was faulty, but not the second. In the end, first part was replaced with a far lower cost part and fixed all issues.

  I have a VWJetta and Russell and the boys do a great job at a reasonable price. Recently got a quick quote for minor repairs and work was done when parts arrived. I have had three services performed by them. My daughter has also had two services on her VWPolo. Highly recommended.

  If you have been frustrated by the main BMW dealer in Canberra and want an excellent, independent garage to look after your car, I can highly recommend Advanced Tech Automotive.

  These guys are just amazing. My service costs have halved since i left the BMW stealership and went to them. Ive got a pretty modern BMW and these guys have all the gear to get the job done. Today i go in to get a front light replaced and they do the job for 28 bucks. They didnt even charge me labor. All the guys are really nice and professional and look like they have a passion for cars. They are like the Fast and Furious Guys....you remember when that guy just wanted to take his money and open up an honest shop? Best mechanics i have ever seen!!!

  They not only specialise in BMWs, but German autos per se, as well a Japanese. The fellas are not just mechanics, but also enthusiasts who live and breathe cars and motorcycles.
